Communities
Communities is a young-child friendly presentation that ties Madison’s development to the subject of communities. A Powerpoint presentation compare examples of early businesses and landmarks to those that exist today. Children are fascinated by the contrast of archival black and white photos with those taken in modern times in color. This program ties in with the textbook story “Boom Town”.
