Joe Carr, Director
Joe Carr, has been director of the Jefferson County Historical Society for the past 21 years and has guided the organization through a major renaissance, including the construction of the present museum. He holds a graduate degree in museum studies from he Cooperstown Graduate program in New York and his career includes a two-year stint on the White House staff in Washington, DC. His personal interests include traveling around the world and his restored log cabin and tree farm in southern Kentucky.
